Quick doodle this morning. Photoshop CS3, couple hours.

[Edit Edit] Hey guys, I was looking through my external HD after my laptop died, and realized I backed up a cleaned up version of this painting, one I totally forgot to submit! So here it is :)

This image came to my attention when it was accidentally relocated to the wrong gallery. Turns out it was a happy accident. :) This is a wonderful depiction of Harry which keeps him true-to-form without defaulting to 'Daniel Radcliffe' mode - not that Daniel Radcliffe is a bad Harry, far from it! But I'm one of those old hardbitten fans who was reading the books back when there were no movies, no actors and no way-too-good-looking Emma Watson. All the fans had to go by back then were Ms Rowling's descriptions and a few cute pastel-y illustrations... and this skinny, untidy Harry brings back a lot of fond memories. (Featured by `animator)

i really enjoyed the book, i'm glad it's the last one though, i wouldn't want it to continue forever. too much of a good thing! :)

Oh God I'm dying to know what kind of brushes you use for your work. It's like you can see all the little brush strokes - It looks raw and completed at the same time.

Excellant ambience and I like the glow off the snitch. :3
