I grew up on Disney movies, the princess movies have a special place in the ultra-girly area of my heart. When Disney recently started releasing their classics on DVD I was attempting to collect them, whenever a new one came out it was so exciting as I hadn't seen these movies in years. The only copies I had were half-malfunctioning VHS tapes. The little Mermaid has always been one of my top favorites (possibly because I've always secretly wanted to BE a mermaid haha) and when it was rereleased I had to paint something. So here is my tribute and gift to everyone who worked on that film - Thank you!
Best fanart of her ive ever seen.. probably better than the original.. it'd come down to personal taste to pick...

Haha, we all have our own strange little addictions I'm sure. xD;
Very nice texture, especially on the rock and water. I really like how the colors are quite bold, but you softened them when blending them in. Plus, the hair has that wispy, flowy feeling that is your trademark. :3
